Psychological Assessments
Comprehensive assessments completed by Dr. Day typically involve a file review, extensive clinical interviewing, semi-structured interviewing and the administration and interpretation of a variety of psychological tests. The results of the assessment are then integrated into an assessment report that addresses symptom exaggeration or malingering, etiology, level of impairment or disability, diagnoses, and specific recommendations for treatment and disability management.

MVA Assessments
Dr. Day has been conducting assessments for individuals involved in motor vehicle accidents (MVA) for almost 20 years. He has conducted psychological evaluations examining entitlement to psychological treatment, issues related to workplace disability and the presence of a permanent disability. Dr. Day conducts these assessments both on behalf of claimants involved in motor vehicle accidents and for insurance companies.
Immigration Assessments
Dr. Day has extensive experience completing comprehensive psychological assessments for immigration purposes. He has worked with some of the most well-regarded immigration lawyers in the GTA to complete assessments of people who are applying for refugee status in Canada or applying to remain in Canada on humanitarian and compassionate grounds. These assessments often address issues such as experiences of traumatization that occurred to the person’s in their country of origin and the psychological impact of them being forced to return there.
